Yael Stone

Stone was born in Sydney and grew up in the city. She went to the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) as well as at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone's acting career began as a kid, when she appeared the role of Me Myself I. in Me Myself I. and The Farm. Her main focus was theatre. Stone was awarded the title of Best Newcomer during the Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and Best Supporting actor for The Kid. Apart from her role in theatre, she's been on TV in supporting roles such as All Saints or Spirited. She appeared from 2010 until 2011. in The Diary of a Madman. For this role, she won a nomination at The Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Supporting actress. In February 2011 she traveled across the country to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production of The Diary of a Madman prior to returning for lead roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, and As You Like It in Sydney.
